He Is With You–You Are Not Alone

Hey Pioneers!

It’s a new year, and sometimes, that can be scary. If you’re just starting college, or if you’re about to finish, or even if you’re halfway through–the new classes, the new environment, or the thought of being on your own for the first time can be a lot to swallow.

But NO MATTER WHAT, Jesus is with you. Don’t forget that. Ever.

You say, “But I don’t always feel him…I feel so alone.”

I went to college at UNT, and it wasn’t an easy transition from the small town of Muenster and transferring from NCTC. I was afraid, and sometimes, I felt very alone.

My friends were at different colleges, and I didn’t know anyone. I was on my own for the first time. But I made it through, because I had the strength Jesus gave me in the Eucharist.

When felt alone, I ran to Jesus. I ran to the Eucharist. I ran to the Blessed Mother. They will give you the peace you need to get through, I promise.

I hope the song below will help encourage you to face the battle and “stand” with Jesus’ help and grace:

Even though we don’t have the Eucharist on the TWU campus all the time, we do have Him there every Wednesday and Sunday. (Schedule at bottom of blog).

If you are able, there is also daily Mass at the Catholic Campus Center, and adoration every Tuesday. Click here for the Catholic Center’s full schedule.
