Happy February, Pioneers!

Can you believe that Lent is right around the corner? I certainly can’t! It feels like Christmas just ended! Oh wait…it did! (The Presentation of the Lord on February 2 was the last day of Christmastide.)

Let Us Pray For The Unborn

Hello TWU Catholics!

I hope you all had a wonderful first week of school. Don’t forget that tonight is the first night of Catholic Women’s Group! See the flyer below. 

Today is also the 45th Anniversary of the Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade, which made abortion legal in our country. According to statistics, from 1973-2014, there were almost 60 million abortions performed since its legalization in the United States. That’s 60 million babies. These people could have been your friends, classmates, future priests or religious. (This is just few examples to put this into perspective)

Let us pray for all the unborn, for those who have lost their lives to abortion, and for an end to abortion in our country.

Women’s Group Announcement!

Hey Pioneers!

I’ve got an exciting announcement! Women’s Group starts on Sept. 11, and we will watch Mother Angelica’s classics! If you’ve never heard of Mother Angelica, she is the nun who founded EWTN, the largest Catholic media network in the world! If you’re not excited yet, check out the video below. Trust me, she is hilarious, full of wisdom, and extremely entertaining! I’m so excited that we will feature her talks this semester!
