Love is Sacrifice

It’s the second full week of Lent, Pioneers!

What is your Lenten resolution? There are many things you can do. You can give something up, such as social media, Netflix/streaming services, etc. You can pray more, such as a Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet. You can also do something extra, such as going to daily Mass, going to confession, performing simple acts of kindness or charity, or working on a fault you may struggle with.

You can even start small and grow throughout Lent. If you don’t feel like you can pray a whole rosary, pray one decade at a time. One decade takes less than five minutes. No one says you have to pray the whole rosary at once! The purpose of this season is to grow in holiness so you can take it with you for the rest of the year. These sacrifices show your love for Jesus, because he made the ultimate sacrifice out of love for you.
